How it Works Register Your Organization View Participating Organizations

How does it work?

Franklin’s MAKE IT COUNT program is designed specifically for non-profit organizations looking for fund-raising opportunities.  Here’s how it works…

Step 1:

Enroll your non-profit organization into the program by completing the online application.

 
Step 2:

FBS will provide you with online printable member cards and promotional flyers for your distribution.

 
Step 3:

Each time your organization’s unique membership number is used at the point of sale at Franklin Building Supply to purchase retail building materials, your not-for-profit organization will earn money to be used by your organization to further its charitable goals.

 
Step 4:

1% of pre-tax retail sales and .5% of retail installed sales will be donated to the organization named on the card in the form of a quarterly rebate check.



Does my organization qualify?

The Make it Count Program is available to all not-for-profit organizations with a legitimate and legal charitable, educational, athletic and/or humanitarian purpose.  It is not available for individuals, nor is it intended to be a vehicle for anyone to make a profit.  It is a way for your favorite non-profit affiliation, be it a little league team or animal rescue shelter (to name just two examples), to earn funds to be used in the furtherance of the mission of the organization.

How can my non-profit organization participate?

Just complete the on-line application.  A representative from Franklin Building Supply will contact you to confirm your acceptance and activate your organizations membership.

What type of products can I purchase that qualify? 

PAINT / PAINT SUNDRIES / CARPET / VINYL FLOOR / HARDWOOD / CERAMIC TILE / COUNTERTOPS / GRANITE / LAMINATE FLOOR / LUMBER / WINDOWS/ DOORS / SIDING / FENCING / DECKING / CABINETS / TOOLS / SKYLIGHTS AND MORE!

* Donations apply to pre-tax retail transactions only.  Not valid on contractor pricing.  Transaction must be paid in advance with cash, check or credit card.
Transactions on FBS credit accounts do not qualify.  Delivery and services charges are excluded from the rebate.
