Natural Wood READ MORE
Beautiful and Sustainable
- Pressure Treated Fir
Wood fencing is extremely popular in almost all areas for its affordability, durability and classic look. Red Cedar is indigenous and grown in the Northwest US and Southern Canada. It has a tight, straight grain that will not warp or shrink, making it an ideal choice for fencing (and decking). Cedar fences can be treated with stains and finishes, or left untreated to create a beautiful grey patina. Cedar is naturally resistant to decay and is a sustainable, renewable resource. Often times pressure treated posts are used if they are going to be sunk directly in the ground, otherwise, if cedar posts are used they are normally placed concrete to help prevent rot.
Installing wood fences is a fairly straight forward process that can be achieved by almost anyone, but it does take time and effort to get the job done right. Having a helping hand through the process can make the job far more manageable.

Chain Link READ MORE
Versatile and Cost-Effective
Chain Link, which is sometimes called 'cyclone fence' because of its design, is a very popular choice for fencing for many reasons. Its simple design makes it easy to install and it is one of the most cost-effective fencing options. Chain Link is made from aluminum, which is extremely durable and requires little to no maintenance. The interlinked, woven design makes it easy to see through and a popular choice for dog runs, sports fields and other enclosures. If you desire a bit more privacy, you can easily add slats (available in many colors) to the chain link to partially block the view.
Installing chain link fences is very easy and would probably be better described as assembly than true construction. The posts are lightweight and easy to install. Using concrete around the post bases will ensure the fence is secure. The actual fencing comes in rolls, which can be cumbersome, so having a helping hand (and gloves) is advised. Gates are very easy to install with chain link fences.

Composite READ MORE
Modern and Attractive
Composite fencing is produced in a similar fashion to composite decking, by combining mixtures of wood pulp and durable plastic. New composite materials are available in many colors to match whatever aesthetic you are seeking. Combining one color of posts and cross members with a different color fence boards can create a beautiful contrasting look for your home. The amalgamation of plastic and wood pulp makes the material extremely resistant to insects and decay and maintenance consists of wiping the surface down with a basic detergent and spraying with a hose: no paint, stain or sealant required!
Construction of a composite fence is almost identical to a wood fence.
