Application for EO Committee membership

ARE YOU THE RIGHT PERSON TO JOIN THIS TEAM?

The EO Committee is a group of TEN EMPLOYEE-OWNERS from across the landscape of Franklin Building Supply who come together to help employees maximize wealth through ownership. They do this important work by fostering an ownership culture through education, communication, fun, celebration and, most importantly, working together toward a common goal of increasing stock price by understanding the impact employee-owners have on the company value.

This is not easy work. But it is fun, dynamic and rewarding for people who are right for the job. Committee membership rotates or no one would ever leave the committee. This rotation allows us to bring new committee members on each year so that more employee-owners can have this rewarding experience.

We are now accepting applications for EO COMMITTEE membership. The three-year term for new members will start in January. We are looking for applicants with these qualifications:

• At least five years at FBS
• Good verbal and written communicator
• Continuous learner as a habit—always looking for improvement
• Motivated and creative by nature
• Has leadership qualities
• Promotes FBS and loves the idea of employee ownership
• Is able to commit to a three-year term

You don’t need to know much about the ESOP to join this committee. If you are the right person for this job, we will teach you everything you need to know about employee ownership.
